Vonette Bright
Life of prayer, Life of joy

"...In all of life, she celebrated well and boldly invited others into the kingdom to celebrate with her. Thus Vonette was as at-home in Buckingham Palace as in a meeting of the Christian Motorcycle Association — where she served as a non-riding member."

JULY 2, 1926 — DECEMBER 23, 2015

Vonette Bright co-founded Campus Crusade for Christ (now called Cru) with her husband, Bill, in 1951. Her hospitality, joy in life, and love for people, Bill, and the Lord were a clear reflection of her deep dependence on the Lord. Her home-going has impacted us and many others.

Vonette's memorial service was inspirational - as was her life.
She left an incredible legacy and a challenge for us to do the same.
